“It has been a positive year so far,’’ Everett said. “Most of the athletes have improved and I am proud of all the work.”
Everett mentioned the athletes on his team are not scholarship athletes, but that does not change their performance or dedication,” said Everett. “They come in and work hard every day,” he said.
Everett said his goals for the 2020-2021 season include “getting the players to improve, getting them better, and faster and ready to compete.”
Morgan Okroi, Kara Carel, Landry Willis, and Sean Acol will compete for the NJCAA in Fort Myers, Florida on March 4 through Saturday March 7.
The national championship will take place at Indian River State College-Anne Wilder Aquatic Complex, in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Each day, the swimmers will warm-up at 7:30 a.m., preliminaries are at 9:30 a.m., finals warmups are at 3:30 p.m. and finals at 5:30 p.m.
