What are some differences between playing in high school and playing in college?
“Playing in high school and college are two completely different worlds. In college it’s more structured and more work. They’re paying for your school so you have to maintain standards and work hard in the classroom and on the field. The conditioning and practice is harder. The season is long so it’s more self-discipline, I believe.” What are the difficulties of managing the life of a student-athlete? “Student-athlete life is tough, but rewarding. It takes lots of balance between class; workouts and practice are time-consuming, but winning games and making lifelong friends along the way is worth it.” RSC Softball opened the season at home as they took on Indian Hills on Tuesday, Feb. 6.
