During this time of the coronavirus pandemic, it has been advised to avoid leaving your home unless it is an emergency to help flatten the curve. Although that seems very boring, here are 10 things you can do to pass the time.
1. Go Through Your Clothes
Is your closet full? Get rid of the clothes in the back of your clothes that you have touched in years. If it doesn’t fit or you don't wear it anymore, get rid of it.
2. Deep Clean Your Home
Deep cleaning is an all-day activity. You’ll also feel better being in a clean and happy atmosphere.
3. Rearrange Your Room
Getting tired of the way your room looks? Get up and rearrange it. This will pass the time and give you a change in the environment.
4. Binge-watch Your Favorite Shows
When will you ever have the opportunity to stay home and watch TV for a long period? Probably never. Use this time to catch up on your favorite TV shows or start a new one.
5. Outdoor Yoga
Yoga can be very relaxing. This can help you mentally and physically while passing time. You can find yoga instructions all over the internet.
Not only does baking pass the time, but in the end, you're rewarded with a delicious treat. Look around your kitchen for some ingredients then search for a recipe online!
7. Online Workouts via YouTube
Staying active during this time is a priority. There are tons of video workouts online. Take advantage of this downtime and start working on yourself.
8. Listen to a Podcast
There is a podcast for anything and everything. Think of your favorite topics and I guarantee you can find a podcast about it!
9. Start a Vlog
Social media is only moving forward. Pick up your phone and start vlogging your social distancing experience. Not only will this entertain you, but it’ll entertain someone else too!
10. FaceTime your Friends
Just because you’re social distancing doesn’t mean you should quit socializing with your friends. Pick up your phone and give them a call!
