This month’s feature athlete is Raider pitcher Bryson Schuman. Schuman is a redshirt sophomore from Carl Albert High School. Last season, he missed half the year because of an elbow injury but still managed to strike out 28 batters over 31 innings. He finished the year with a 2-2 record as well and was 2/2 on save opportunities.

From the National League (NL), Los Angeles Dodger outfielder and former Midwest City Bomber Matt Kemp made his third All-Star appearance. Miami Marlins catcher and former Carl Albert standout J.T.
