1917
This war epic takes place during World War I and follows two soldiers, Blake and Schofield, as they try to deliver a message across no man’s land to stop an attack and save the lives of 1,600 men. 1917 is made to look like it was shot in one take, so the movie is mostly in real-time. This makes it an immersive and impactful experience for everyone.
Onward
Onward is the latest animated family movie from Pixar Studios and is currently streaming on Disney+. The movie follows the two brothers, played by Chris Pratt and Tom Holland, as they try to spend a day with their late father. This is a great movie for the whole family.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 
This animated film tells the story of Miles Morales. A normal teenage kid who gets bit by a spider and turns into Spider-Man. However, he learns that he is not the only Spider-Man and he must team up with the other Spider-People to defeat a menacing foe. The stunning visuals and lighthearted story make this another great movie for the whole family. It is streaming on Netflix.

The Irishman
In Martin Scorsese’s newest crime masterpiece, we follow the rise of hitman Frank Sheeran. Scorsese reunites with longtime collaborators Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci to tell a story about growing older. A recipient of 10 Oscar nominations, this film is sure to impress anybody who views it. It is available to watch on Netflix.

Jumanji: The Next Level
The sequel to the smash hit Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, The Next Level takes the teenage characters back into Jumanji on another fun adventure for the whole family. Hilarious and surprisingly emotional, this movie is a must-watch during self-quarantine. 

The Ballad of Buster Scruggs
Joel and Ethan Coen return to form with this incredible anthology Western. This movie consists of six short films each centered around one central theme of death. Each short film has the dark comedy that the Coen Brothers are known for, while also staying true to the Western genre. The Ballad of Buster Scruggs is not for everyone but for fans of the Coen Brothers or Westerns in general, this is the perfect movie. It is available on Netflix.

El Camino
El Camino is the follow-up movie to the ending of Breaking Bad. Spoilers: It follows Jessie Pinkman after his escape from Jack’s gang. Any fans of Breaking Bad are sure to love this movie. With Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan directing, it has the same feel as the show. It is streaming on Netflix.  

Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness
This television series follows the eccentric and controversial Joe Exotic and his rivalry with Big Cat Rescue owner Carole Baskin. Available to watch on Netflix, this show will keep you entertained from start to finish.

The Invisible Man
In this new adaptation of a classic movie monster, writer and director Leigh Whannell makes a compelling and chilling thriller. The movie follows a woman who fears her ex-boyfriend has found out how to make himself invisible. Now she must figure out how to stop him. 

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
In Quentin Tarantino’s ninth film, it follows a past-his-prime movie star and his stunt double as they try to find meaning in a Hollywood that does not recognize them anymore. This movie is a love letter to the “golden age of cinema” in the late 1960s. With a star-studded cast, this film is a good time for Tarantino fans.
